Why aren’t we using professional critic for our aggregation? Nigerian Cinema is still in its infant state regardless of the present outburst from the box office. There are several reseaons why we’ve decided to stick with audiences reviews and ratings for the time being. 1. It is overly difficult to get an unbiased film critic in Nigeria. why we have been able to identify a few on social media, there a lot of so called film critic out there who would never give a bad review on a movie despite its glaring flaws so as to not to get on the bad side of the black book of the filmmaker involved in making that film. 2. Many of the so called film critic do not really know how to critic a film. They sometimes leave areas to talk about and go for what many will see as a direct attack on the filmmakers. This will bring us to the next. 3. Most of our filmmakers do not know how to accept critic review when it is not positive. We will leave it at this for the time being.

So until we are able to see a tremendous transformation in this regard, we will stick with reviews from cinema audience.
